Healthcare Update Regarding EMS Responses

Health Advisory Update

Munson residents we need your help.

In an attempt to limit COVID-19 exposure not only to you, but also to us, your vital Fire, EMS and Police personnel, we are asking you to try to limit calling EMS for routine assessment of Coronavirus symptoms or potential exposure. We encourage you to first CALL YOUR DOCTOR or the COVID-19 Hotline at 833-427-5634 or 216-767-8228. They, in most instances will have you “Shelter in Place”. And now, many hospitals have or are setting up drive-thru testing so long as you have a referral by a doctor. We are asking that 911 calls for immediate EMS response be limited to respiratory distress and potentially life-threatening problems.
