September is National Preparedness Month!
During the month of September, the Geauga County Department of Emergency Services (DES), along with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and emergency management agencies across the Country, will promote National Preparedness Month.

The theme for National Preparedness Month, this year, is “Disasters Don’t Wait. Make your Plan Today.” Your family may not be with each other when/if a disaster were to strike. It is important to think about the following questions, and plan of a disaster or incident.
